Shawn Rankin, PT, MS, CSCS

Founder & CEO

Shawn Rankin is the Chairman of PERFECT fit Holdings, Inc. and the Founder and CEO of PERFECT fit Health, LLC. He is a licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist.  Mr. Rankin is a 1999 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where he received his Masters of Science Degree with Honors in Physical Therapy. He also earned Bachelor of Science (Physical Education) and Bachelor of Arts (Sports Studies and Management) degrees from Bemidji State University. Mr. Rankin is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Sports Physical Therapy Section, Orthopedic Physical Therapy Section, Private Practice Section, as well as the National Strength & Conditioning Association.

From 2000-2004, Mr. Rankin successfully co-owned and operated a six-facility outpatient orthopaedic Physical Therapy company in the Chicago, IL metro region. Mr. Rankin served as Director of Physical Therapy for his company which specialized in sports medicine, industrial rehabilitation, and athletic performance enhancement. His practice grew from a single facility with four employees to six facilities with seventy-eight employees in less than four years. Through a skillful marketing campaign and superb patient care, these facilities managed nearly 5500 client visits each month and generated over 9 million in yearly revenues.

Mr. Rankin founded PERFECT fit Health in May of 2004. He recruited a leading team of healthcare and fitness professionals, health industry experts, and a talented technical team. Mr. Rankin has dedicated five years (2004-2009) to the research and development of a leading online exercise prescription system, and a large library of proprietary 3D exercise animations, content and web applications that will be leveraged to support several new and exciting online and mobile solutions. Our unique online exercise prescription system and innovative new solutions are designed to transform how rehabilitation and fitness services are delivered by healthcare and fitness professionals; as well as how health and fitness consumers are supported as they strive to take greater ownership of their own health behaviors.

Mr. Rankin is the visionary for PERFECT fit Health, a new consumer-focused physical therapy and health improvement company focused on optimizing the physical therapy experience for rehabilitation consumers and professionals improving access, convenience and affordability while reducing costs for healthcare payers. PERFECT fit Health’s new PTLinked™ Global Physical Therapist Directory and revolutionary online physical therapy platform (My PT Practice™) will transform how rehabilitation consumers (patients) connect and communicate with physical therapists globally, and receive professional services online during rehabilitation and after discharge.
