James Bradley

 

 

James Bradley serves as a Senior Strategic Advisor for PERFECT fit Health. In this capacity, Mr. Bradley provides management advisory services and business development recommendations.

Mr. Bradley is the Chairman of the Board of Prematics, Inc, a Washington DC based ePrescribing company. His other Board affiliations include Aionex, a Nashville based hospital information systems company, and Wellpartner, based in Portland Oregon.  Wellpartner is a leader in home delivery and contract pharmacy services. Mr. Bradley recently completed an assignment in which he served as Northrop Grumman’s Program Director of their Nationwide Health Information Network initiative sponsored by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology of the US Department of Health and Human Services.

Mr. Bradley is the former Chairman and CEO of GTESS Corporation. He is also the former CEO of RxHub LLC and was RxHub’s first employee. RxHub is a healthcare technology company that has developed a nationwide electronic information exchange connecting prescribers, pharmacies and pharmacy benefit managers in order to permit the sharing of prescription and benefit information between them. Before RxHub, Mr. Bradley was a senior executive at McKesson Corporation, the largest drug distribution and healthcare technology company in the world. He was Chairman, CEO and founder of Abaton.com, Inc., a developer of web-based physician connectivity services and applications. Mr. Bradley was also President of Health Systems Integration, Inc. and Chief Information Officer of United HealthCare Corporation (UNH).

Mr. Bradley has served on the board of directors for the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and chaired the Board from 2002 through 2005. He also currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Minnesota Medical Center – Fairview.

Mr. Bradley has frequently volunteered his time on behalf of organizations that are striving to advance the state of health information technology. He is a former co-chairperson of WEDI, The Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange, has served on the Board of the eHealth Initiative, and has been actively involved with the Markle Foundation’s Connecting for Health Initiative. Mr. Bradley has lectured at Washington University, Harvard, Wharton, the University of California, the University of Hawaii, the University of Illinois, and the University of Minnesota on topics related to health information technology.

Mr. Bradley received his MBA from Washington University, St. Louis, MO, and his BS and MS degrees from the University of Illinois. His hobbies have him spending a lot of time outdoors. His passion is flying between hobby activities and he holds an Airline Transport Pilot rating and is qualified to fly aircraft that range from small seaplanes to jets. He is also a rated aircraft mechanic.
