In 2004, Shawn Rankin, Physical Therapist and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist with years of practical clinical experience established PERFECT fit Health with a single goal in mind—combine evidence-based rehabilitation and fitness content with advanced 3-D character exercise animation and state-of-the-art graphics to develop exciting, innovative solutions that promote education, motivate activity, and positively impact health.

Prior to founding PERFECT fit Health, Shawn was co-owner and Director of Physical Therapy for a six-facility outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice in Chicago, Illinois that managed over 5500 patient visits per month. There, Shawn identified the need for transformative solutions that improve communication, streamline the physical therapy experience and exercise prescription process, and engage consumers to take greater ownership for their own health behaviors during rehabilitation and after discharge.

To address the many challenging health issues and ever-increasing health care costs associated with inadequate physical activity and poor rehabilitation program adherence, PERFECT fit Health assembled a team of leading rehabilitation and fitness professionals, health industry experts, and technology specialists. The result of this collaborative effort is the development of an unrivalled online exercise prescription system supported by over 1000 3D character exercise animations, leading content, and several proprietary web applications.

We move forward with a shared commitment to transform physical therapy by leveraging our assets and content to create new and innovative online and mobile applications and business solutions that improve how rehabilitation and fitness services are delivered by professionals and received by consumers.
